Hi,

Had 2 incidents where my data were lost. The first incident - I spent 2 days tracking in Melaka with all the data on my 60 Csx. Then I moved the SD card from my 60Csx to my Nuvi. Somehow, the Nuvi will always erased all the data from the 60Csx when I placed it in the Nuvi. Happened 2 times before but I did not realise the impact. Now I lost 2 days of tracks. It was a bitter blow.

Today, I did a few hours of tracking. I hooked up my 60Csx to the Mapsource. For some reason, the unit went blanked after I copied today's tracks. Not sure if I pressed any button wrongly. When I tried to transfer the saved POIs from the unit to Mapsourse, I could not find any. I found that my 60Csx was reset to the factory setting, which means that all my settings were lost including all saved POIs.

Luckily, I was using a voice recorder as well so managed to recall almost 95% of the POIs. Phew. I wouldn't want to retrack as the areas are quite far away form my house and it is definitely very disheartening to be tracking the same areas again.

I think we got to follow Bro Myin precaution step i.e. 2 set tracking simultaneously. I almost lost hours of tracklogs due to my charging adapter malfunction. My tracking device suddenly blackout without warning. Doesn't have time to save it but luckily mapedit can recover it. Fiuuuh #-o

Tayar Pancit Episode

I was happily tracking at Chepor, Perak during HR festival. I had a flat and it was my first experience changing a flat tire. Luckily I kept my manual inside the car. It took me half an hour to change it. No bad compare to F1 pitstop eh

Stuck on me Episode

On the fourth of Hari Raya I was tracking one of the kampung road at Ayer Hitam, NS. I was confronting an incoming car on a single lane road. As usual as an outsider I had to give way to the local. It was quite dark and I didn't realised that I was driving on an uneven road. My car was out of leverage and got stuck! Couldn't moved forward or reverse. Two local guys came out to help me. They push my car but doesn't move an inch. Luckily another 2 came to the rescued. After rescuing, they wished me "Selamat Hari Raya" and I wished them back. :)
