offset to track & ext. antenna :thumbsup:

if can use ext. antenna, ext. antenna is very important.... :good:

my track is 100% use ext. antenna to track it. :peace:

4get it, offset u divice. my garmin is offset... any time any where can tracking ......

if can, now i use Garmin 60CSx to track, Nuvi 765 to save POI(also offroad for backup track, my track all use external antenna), My R5800 to check the road name........ :peace: :thumbsup: :$gone: :mrgreen:

Actually, instead of using an external aerial, I just put the whole GPSR on the roof, tied securely to a magnet from an old loudspeaker. Just put the magnet into a small ziplock bag, and then wrap in cloth to make sure it is waterproof and also does not scratch the car paint. The cloth provides good friction. Make sure it is only one thin layer each. Otherwise, if too thick, the magnet may not hold strongly enough.
