Just a thought, mfm on twitter? Some advantages:-

1. Admin can sent out on tweet that new map ready for download
2. Members can give real-time feed back on traffic jams, police road block/speed traps, road closure, etc.
3. special deals or happenings such as sale of GPS gadgets or tweets on GG or during GG.

What do members think of this idea?

thought i would start the ball rolling by creating a twitter account for mfm but guess what, both the mfm and malfreemaps are already take. But by who... :-k :-k :-? :-?

I have created a twitter for malfreemaps. the twit address is @my_mfm. I couldn't get @malfreemaps but if you were to visit the malfreemaps twitter page, it is active.

anyway my twitter page created is http://twitter.com/my_mfm. feel free to twit there. you will need to become a twitter before you can twit.

Suggested use for twitter:-

1. Inform about up-coming GG
2. Inform about map up-dates
3. real time up dates on traffic jam, police speed trap, etc.

Please observe forum rules while you are twitting.

Can simply add hashtag #malfreemaps to your twits if it's related to MFM. Don't use #mfm as it's already being used for I don't know what.
KLites can use #kltraffic and #klrb (#sgtraffic for Singapore) to report traffic conditions. Follow @kltraffic and @KLroadblock to receive traffic updates.
