Our mappers have finalized our city POI usage. We will no longer define city POI based on approximate population (we have no idea anyway). Instead, cities and towns are categorized by importance. Below is our City POI standard:

Explanation for Find City

Find City is the term I use whether to include the City POI as search criteria during Address and POI search. Refer to the image below:

Checking the "Enable indexing of this object...." will make this city available for address and POI filtering

From our new standard, all towns are available for search filtering. Tamans and villages will cannot be used as search filters.


All city POIs can be searched using the Find Cities (not Find POI) function in Nuvi and MXT.
