Custom POI files (*.GPI) are usable only in Garmin. However you can also use the waypoints in Papago, but the procedure is manually done, pls refer here: How to Manage Papago POIs with MapSource (23/8/2009)

I downloaded the file V2_09.gpi (28,593 bytes) and tried to use GPSBabel 1.3.6 to convert it to .gdb file. Here's what I get:

garmin_gpi: Unknown tag (0x2). Please report!

The converted .gdb file only has 46 waypoints when I open in MapSource. (I think the error occurred at the 46th or 47th record).

Can someone enlighten me on what to do? :frus:

Why don't we provide both .gdb and .gpi files for download, since both are just below 30kb each?

What is the difference between gdb, gpi and gpx...I am using GMXT and i can see that my POI file is gpi...i'm a newbee...that's why i cannot sting yet...thx

14 night market locations in Kepong area.
Confirmed still operating.
