In a folder called POI in Garmin folder in the external mSD Card,
ie., mSD Card --> Garmin --> POI folder

Normally, depending on the model, the system will auto-install cPOI into your device from external storage. Examples are 205, 1350 will install into the device even though cPOI resides in mSD Card except for 2575R where the system will call cPOI either from the device or from the external storage. Hope I didn't confuse you -:)
