Sorry.. got a stupid question ere.. what's the benefit of knowing the location of repeaters for this amateur radio? I got zero knowledge in this amateur radio although I know what it consists of. My dad is going to take the exam in April and I just wonder what I can gain or help my dad if I download the file. :mrgreen:

distance does matter. if u know the nearest repeater around you, you can set it's frequencies to your VHF radio, and use the repeater for the communication. this POI have info for repeater's frequencies, offset and tone. it is good for travelers. for example, if u are from penang, come to kl, open this poi on ur garmin and it will list down all the repeaters starting from the nearest one.

Ya, terdapat banyak perubahan pada frekuensi yang diarahkan oleh mcmc. so this is the latest list that i got from 9M2RR. i ll give an info here if there in any changes later.

In Kerian V38 blog, the blogger said 9M4RBL is 147.925 instead!

Which one is the most updated data?
