While this info can be used by Volvo customers (as optional Custom POIs), I notice some of the POIs are not yet available in MFM map, do consider to post them (new POIs only) at the appropriate topic for the POIs to be included in main map.

Added VOLVO.GPI Custom POI file. To install, place GPI file within \Garmin\Poi folder (for most Nuvis). If folder is not available, create a New Folder and rename accordingly.

Hi dvpro,

Thanks for created the Volvo Poi, some update information want to share with you after I tested the POI in my Nuvi760..

1) I saw a "Volvo assembly plant" icon in the map, might be you can put the name "Swedish Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd".

2) Beside the Volvo assembly plant, N03 03 45,73 E101 31 07,55 is the Volvo Truck HQ and also 3S.

3) For Sabah Angkatan hebat have a new 3S located at 1 borneo, I will get more detail info and update you.

4) Will try to get Brunei & Singapore Volvo 3S and update you.

5) Previous Volvo workshop at Jln222 now become VW & Mitsubishi N03 05 45,51 E101 37 48,61.

I have the latest Volvo dealerships POI file but it not working for Nuvi1350, could you guide me how to create the .gpi file?

Hi,

I found what was the reason Volvo dealerships gpi file not working at Garmin Nuvi1350 unit, actually the gpi file need to place at the internal memory, can't place it at the external memory card.

I attach the gpi file here so that if any Volvo owner want to use it.
