TQ Bro.

Your location is correct but the Position of the camera is wrong.
Camera should put on the road where it heading before the traffic light.
That should be easier to understand.

Hope someone can correct me...

There are hundreds of such cameras and it would be tedious to screen through our maps.
Is there a way where we can get hold of the co-ordinates of the installed cameras?
:-k
It would be easier to code a cPOI with the given co-ordinates :)
Suggest that the trigger point be at 1.5km and programme it to let cPOI's warning alert be measured in radius
so that the trigger point can be activated within the radius surrounding the POI.

Hi tiensheng

I think we already have traffic light cam & speedtrap (maybe not updated by the Mapper concerned).

AES is a "new kid on the block" which concerns many and I think should be a separate entity by itself. What do you think? :)

what i mean is under AES , there are speeding cam , traffic light cam and mobile.
of course mobile cam i guess we can't predict :) ...
we can have 2 sections under AES , which is the traffic light cam and speeding cam
so everyone can share cpoi easily ~

but , 566 + 265 = 831 points in total around malaysia ? hahahaha
everyone , let's do it !

AES FAQ - http://portal.jpj.gov.my/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=123&Itemid=36
Berapa bilangan kamera yang akan dipasang?
 Jumlah kamera speeding 566 buah.
 Jumlah kamera traffic light 265 buah.
 Jumlah keseluruhan kamera 831 buah.

Speed limit to be lowered during Hari Raya

KUALA LUMPUR: The speed limit along federal and state roads will be reduced by 10kmph from Aug 12 to Aug 26 during the festive season, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha.

Hence, he said the speed limit along federal roads would be 80kmph and state roads, 70kmph, for two weeks as a measure to reduce accidents during the festive season.

Speaking to reporters after launching the Aidilfitri Integrated Road Safety Campaign at the South Integrated Terminal here Thursday, he said heavy commercial vehicles other than those ferrying perishable goods were barred from using expressways on Aug 17, 18, 25 and 26.

On the Automated Enforcement System (AES), he said it was still at the trial stage and was expected to be fully operational later this year.

He said the system had been installed at 10 blackspots and was being tested before they come into operation in stages.

As a warning to motorists, notice boards on zone speed cameras will be put up within 2km from the location, he added.

The list of supposedly AES locations bandied over the Internet lately is an old speed trap compilation.

As mentioned above, there are only 10 blackspots with AES so far. And unlike the usual speed traps whereby our PDRM ambushes you, the AES locations will be supplemented with notice boards warning motorists about the presence of a speed camera. This should make it easier to spot and report.

I notice under the Mufors building (USJ-Ebor Elite Highway), there are 3 camera for each lane. (only northbound, southbound takde), could it mean, that instead of 566 high speed camera location, there are exactly 566 camera, each lane 1 camera, so less location.

at the moment I can't confirm the other area, if there is separate camera for each lane.
