I have just download the latest map and install on my mapsource. On the mapsource it looks ok.

But when I transfer the date to my 60CSx, it only shows the building or house but no road.

Is there something I can do?[/quote]
Bro fishtan,
download latest mfm garmin map, when prompted to generate gmapsupp, I recommend u to use these options
Exclude color polygons
dont use full customisation, instead use default
road poi - up to u, if u use to search a road name via POI/spellname

after done, copy and replace old gmapsupp on sdcard with new 1. Should be ok.

Ok if I understand you correctly, mean I can not simply just use mapsource and use "map tool" to select the map I want to upload onto my 60CSx and then just "send to device".

Instead I would need to take out the memory card and slot it in a card reader and copy and paste the "gmapsupp" onto my memory card.

Ok I go try again.

There is no need to do that.

With the 60CSx connected with the PC via the USB cable, you can access the SD card as an external drive.

It's been such a long time since I used a handheld, and I think you need to create a folder in the root directory ie. x:\Garmin, and that's where the gmapsupp.img will reside.

whoa, it's been quite a while. looks like the site has had loads of level-ups (specially the ASEAN mapping part). will surely be downloading the latest map later. thanks in advance.

1. New SG Postal Code & Address Map
MFM's new SG Postal Code & Address map allows users to search for address or postal code. Currently, there are over 17,000 postal codes in our database.

2. Option to generate MFM-lite version
MFM-Lite has been incorporated into MFM-Garmin. You can generate the lite version using MFM's map generator at the end of the installation process. Just check the "Exclude colored polygons..." box.

3. Proper annoucement of U-turns
Garmin now recognise our maps' left-hand traffic direction. It will ask users to "Make a U-turn" instead of "Turn right then turn right". Our mappers will be updating their maps to conform to Garmin's U-turn standard. If you encounter an U-turn which is not announced properly, please feedback to us.

Because of the change in traffic system, you are advised to turn off (uncheck) U-turn avoidance for better route suggestions.

At Nuvi's main menu, press Tools, Setting and then Navigation. You will see the screen on the top left. Press the Avoidance button. Ensure U-turn avoidance is unchecked.

Hi . I am new member here.
My GPS is Garmin 255. Can someone advice me how to do block number search?
