Everytime I installed a newer version of MFM compiled Garmin Map, my 'Recently Found' items will be all changed to different POIs which I had never searched before.

However, if I installed Garmin compiled maps, i.e. NT/CN maps, all my previous POIs will remain intact.

Therefore, I hope the compiler for our bi-weekly map update could be improved so I don't have to clear my 'Recently Found', and I could still use back the earlier searched POIs.

Which model are you using? The "Recently Found" has no issue on my 2575...

I am using Nuvi 200. I have also installed the map for my colleague who is using Nuvi 2465. Both also have the same problem. But if I were to install the NT/CN maps, there is no such problem.

Hope you guys can look into the matter. TQ.

I too have the same issue with my nuvi 2575.

As I understand for cGPSmapper map files, the Recently Found points to particular locations in the map memory. So when we mappers add/move/delete POIs and roads in the our MP files, the location of particular POIs and addresses in the map memory may change, resulting in some items in your Recently Found list pointing to different items when you install the latest release.

I guess for NT maps, they don't suffer from this problem as the compilation is tailor-made for the Garmin devices.

If you really want to remember all your important Recently Found items, add them to My Favourites just before updating to the latest bi-weekly release. Sorry it's not what you ideally want.
