MFM-Garmin 100517 Feedback

A lot of sweat and effort is being put in behind the scene for us to enjoy arguably the best Map for our GPS units. With the recent retirement of the founder of MFM, I think it will take some time for the new admin to sort things out. Let us all be patient for the next update.

But the opening of LKSA is considered a major change in traffic routing for those in Shah Alam/Kemuning/Klang areas. Normally MFM is the fastest to show such updates... not having the latest map to download on monday morning is a big letdown.

I also don't mind no map update this week.. but an announcement would be good on whether there will be or not be any map release this week or some meeting / discussion is going on etc etc.

I would think the MFM community deserve to know if there is any new direction or deviation from the norm from the "top management', just for info. Kalau tak ada announcement, suspens woooo! Many assumptions and rumours will start flying all over the place

Or maybe this is one of the action taken to reduce the excess bandwidth / slow download problem?

A big let down? Gosh...it is just one week without updating...even with the new opening of LKSA...does it mean that without the latest map you can't navigate at all?

There isn't a SLA (service level agreement) in place for malfreemap to release new map every monday...we don't even pay for the map...what else can you ask for?

The real concern is not that there is no map to update this week, but rather, IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE END?!! Ppl might just have to get used to the idea that from now on, it might be a bi-monthly or even a monthly update only.
