MFM-Papago map feedback

Bought Papago x5 for windows mobile from m3shop. Just want to ask which version of map that is bestto fit it. FYI download both map version x3 wm and x5 android but after install(replace the preloaded map) papago asking back for activation and went back to normal after restored old map from cd(MFM Map) and lastly if using the map i mention earlier, the map header cannot be display and map switch function is not working(cannot select map)... please advise

Donlod mfm standard.
Remove existing map folder inside maps. Replace with new one

Thanks it work but the poi keyword searh still have problem. examples. type for public bank ...other non related poi appeared and for some cases the requested poi were not display but the non related requested were display

I choose Pahang for instance

I just bought a unit of PAPAGO! R5800 with M3GPS/X5 during last week in Singapore. I had search this whole forum looking for Taiwan, taipei map both did not find any post.

I suspect it is not so straight forward to load Taiwan map compare to loading Mal/Sing maps from MFM.

The questions i have are

(1) can the unit i bought in Singapore load with taiwan map?
(2) or can i buy the taiwan map from http://www.papago.com.tw and flash the unit completely to become a Taiwan unit and when i am back to Singapore, i flash back the unit from the recovery CD provided with the package bought here.

I would be happy if i got some enlightenment from you guys/gals.

download custom version
execute the exe file
copy the mfm folder to sd card\papago\maps

Dear friend's

I really dont understand after i update Papago x3 on 09/12/09 now i cannot update the road search, I click on road search the alphabet is come then I click road name or place name like last time (before update's to 09/12/09) click place taman it’s show many taman names induceding it’s return there taman medan baru which was that place I want to go no need to write of the place name, but now what happen is the alphabet is there but I click (T) only the (T) show other alphabet is not there and cannot click other aplhabet what was wrong I don’t understand. Now I cannot search at all

Anybody friend's can help or guide me to settle this prolbem

does this means that the postal code search will now work in all custom version? and not just the east gear version???

Hmm.. Has anyone been able to get this working on the Holux 6210+? I've only been able to use the postal code search while using the official SLA map but not on the MFM ones.

Sorry for late reply... mine also cant be use on Holux 6210 . is only work on M3GPS X3 & X5. Bro Antyong had updated it on the first downloading page. We have to inform EastGear about it and hope they can solve it to make full use of MFM postal code function...
