MFM-Garmin 091026 Feedback

alot of POI cannot be search but is viewable inside the map for the garmin mobile XT version.
for example , if there is a shop call "abc xyz 123" when you serach "abc" not found , but search "xyz" it found , and then search "123" not found,for my understanding , either search "abc" or "xyz" or "123" the result should come out, i remember when i was using MSM map . i seldom facing that problem.

i found that some out the POI on 0909 version can be search but 0910 version cannot be search, i wondering why?

The POI Search issue is also happening to normal Nuvi sets (tested on 255W).

Randomly, some specific POIs not searchable when using the all POI search, but when use specific type of POI search, able to locate it.

Will provide more information once I can get some sample POIs that exhibit this problem.

hahaha and i actually open up a thread in newbie lounger to understand how this search function works...seems others are having same problem as me...

hopefully when the mods got spare time can put up a simple guide how to use search function and how POIs are stored in the map..

Hi...I am a newbie and have just bought a nuvi 255W.

After successfully downloading the latest 091026 mapset and opening-up Mapsource, I noticed that the "Include route calculation data" is greyed out whereby I cannot tick the box.

How do you go about to "un-grey" the box so that I can tick it?

Don't worry about it. Continue to upload your map into your Nuvi 255W. Else, use the MFM map generator that is activated at the end of the installation process.
