This file gmapsupp.img can direct use in garmin device?

Hi,

Tried to update the map on Kenwood HU DNX715WBTMS. Need some help if there are some additional steps in generating the map.
1. Am using Mapsource to generate the map.
2. Tried both Full Customization and Custom Polygons options to generate the file

The map generally is OK except for
1. When trying to use Addresses, it reports "Map data not available"
2. THe other functions looks ok i.e. Home, POI selection, coordinates
3. The map view is there except some of the POI are not coming out (i.e. blank). Road names appear

Does it mean that it is not compatible?

I only replace the gmapsupps.img file in the SDcard in folder Garmin. Didn't touch any other files.
