Yes i'm using GMXT Symbian and only have 1 img file in my Garmin folder.
perhaps you can do a search on your GMXT and see if you faced the same issue with the duplicate results.
try searching for "Maju Camp".

What the heck! I just want to tell you that after playing around with GMXT, selecting/deselecting the MFM POI file, I now ended up with the exact same problem that you have mentioned. A search for "Maju Camp" now gives me two results, even though I have only one single map file in my Garmin folder.

I don't know why. Maybe memory corruption or something. Maybe you passed the "virus" to me. I am going to sleep now.. cannot think anymore.

So confirmed the issue is with MFM-Garmin 091207.
Previous version no such problem.
then again, its not really a BIG problem, MFM-Garmin still rocks!

I think the problem existed since last week's release and probably another few previous releases. Of course, it might not be a big problem but it might eventually causes some inconvenience when searching for certain POI. For example, my 255w has a limit for displaying the search results, which i think is 52. And now it only displays 26 result because of the duplicating issues. No offense & i hope you understand.

It was only after toying around with the settings, that somehow I ended up with this problem. I don't know why and how. Maybe nothing wrong with the map. Something wrong with something we did.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you can help out the sifus to troubleshoot the problem by letting them know how u 'toyed' or what u had done in ur GPS.

Reverting back to MFM-Garmin 091130, problem remains.
Reverting back to MFM-Garmin 091123, no problem, show only single result.

mine is ok...
searched for Maju Camp and other POI, only giving me 1 result...
my 255W contain MSM, CN & Garmin NT maps in internal memory & 1 MFM in SD card but only tick on MFM, of course...

this is what i found in Mapsource... when the POI contain 2 same name as per pic, it will result with 2 same POI when searching in my Nuvi...

Dear bro mappers,

First and foremost, thanks for all the hardwork to improve the maps.

Just my feedback as was looking at the latest maps and point to note is the some of the forest polygon used are obscuring the nature park trails when viewed in Mapsource i.e. Bukit Batok Nature Park. Would like to suggest all nature parks to use 'Bukit Timah Nature Park' polygon type as the trails can be seen then.

using this map update 091207.

been using all the past map updates, this recent one does give duplicate results in whatever u search.
other than that, it works fine in all other aspect.

the updating as well as the transfer of the latest update was done as per previous update, no change in the way i update the device, and this duplicate problem issue come only after this update.
so as to say, i conclude this update have some bugs, as all other files have been in my 205W since i use the device.
hopefully mappers can do something, maybe with the next update.
