not at the moment..i just like to keep copies of maps that are working well becos sometimes my mapsource goes mad and i have to reinstall..if i need help i shall "disturb" you guys for help... thanks for asking

SG is not routable to MY even in Mapsource.

Just came back to Singapore and downloaded above version 091228.
Yeap, can confirm above statement. Cannot do routing in Mapsource or my Nuvi from SG to MY. Route calculation in Nuvi is also very slow.

its in I:\garmin\map is this ok? and i have renamed the file to mfm 091221.img is that ok?

Bro montroy please read my instructions properly .... put the gmapsupp.img in the SD /garmin sub-directory not anywhere else !!

Note silverbeauty instructions is to put your gmapsupp.img file in a Garmin folder in your storage card. If you are putting in the Garmin folder in your device memory, check if you have a pre-existing map by the same name. If there is, then try using gmapsup2.img or gmapprom1.img as your file name.

i'm using the nuvi 1350 and not putting the image in a storage card. when i connect the gps to my com it reads as I:\Garmin and there is another Garmin folder under this. so question is, where should the image be? i've tried putting in in I:\Garmin and I:\Garmin\Garmin and someone pm'ed me to create a Map folder which should look I:\Garmin\Map but they all don't work.

Your SD Card /garmin folder. Map file name should be gmapsupp.img

If you already have a map file there, back it up somewhere else and delete it.

no offence bro, i have the gmapsupp.img already in a Garmin folder but it aint working. noob question but to clear the air, with the download link for 091221, i already get a zip folder containing the img file. do i do a simple copy and paste of the image file or must i upload through some software?
