Why the suspicion that there are problems. If there is, the Admins will inform us accordingly.

Sometimes we post unnecessarily in it thereby making it convoluted and detracting from its intent. There are also those who post asking where to download here when the details are on the first post of the thread.

I support that the thread be locked.

No offence, but i was asking only to clarify whether the map was being taken offline temporary (thought the map was downloadable in the topic) to possibly do some corrections etc. This is to save me some time having to re-download and unpack, transfer etc... (I do have 3 devices to transfer the map, which can take up some time to do)

As for whether the topic should/should not be locked, I would suggest if it is locked the administrator can tag it to be permanent in the front of the topic list (I m not good in forum jargon, pardon me), save the little trouble looking for it. Previously when the topic was not locked, it's easy to find the download since it would be at the front of the topics due to latest postings by forumers. After all these r (the garmin maps, the papago maps) the popular topics that visitors would look for.
