Can someone pls verify this: today try to search Cherry blossom thai restaurant sg ara in mxt n97 map 0928 but get nothing except apatment etc. i manually browse the map can see the poi but cant get fr search, pls help thanks

Yes, I can confirm this restaurant cannot be found using the normal way. Some plentifull apartments names Cherry Blossom shows up in Ayer Itam, Penang. I tried searching using Point of Interest / Spell name, didn't find any. Then I use the POI/Food&Drink, also didn't find it. I tried keywords such as cherry, blossom, thai and cannot find it.

But when I use POI/Food&Drink and use the 'Near' command, and then manually move closely to the restaurant as the position of reference, then only can find.

Forgot to add that I am using:-

Garmin MXT for Windows Mobile 5.00.20w on a HTC Diamond 2. I've got lots of free RAM, 4GB Class 6 SDCard.

Perhaps there are certain settings in MXT that is causing the crash, and I am thinking of doing 2 things to the settings. One is Avoidance Setup, to tick the U-Turn (avoid U-turns) which is currently un-ticked. The 2nd thing is to set to "Show Location" at "On Roads", as I am now set at "At GPS Location".

Will report back with these 2 parameters.

Today I tried using the settings with "Show Locations" with "At GPS Location", and it did not crash.

Next thing to try out is to run it at Zoom level 120m, which was the zoom level in which it was crashing. The current test was at 80m as I wanted to see clearly which road the 'blue' car is stuck on.

Hi i have tried reverse back to MFM-Garmin-090921.exe, no problem to search "Cheery Bloosom Thai Restaurant" or "Teik Seng Toy Car" (for example)

However, i install MFM-Garmin-090921.exe or MFM-Garmin-090928a.exe or MFM-Garmin-091005a.exe, i cant find the above POI, i guess these are some bugs since ver 090921
