It is strange that you cannot simulate the route I am seeing.

I tried on nroute, Nuvi 205 and Mobile XT. All routed me via the Kampung roads (either using shortest or fastest route).

Note that one small part of Persiaran Pantai Jerjak 5 is one-way-street. So when you simulate the route, you have to follow exactly (from south to north). Going from North to South is ok.

:ko:

I checked with nroute...

with the setting in road selection 1 step towards to right It will not route into the alley.

Another explaination is...
Navigation software will check the total time for the route also. Compare the 2 picture and you will see the difference. Sum up the time takes for the 2 pictures. Maybe # of turns is also the factor contributes into it.

Kampung route = 109 sec to destination; 2 turns...
Normal residence route = 124 sec to destination; 5 turns...

Suggest bro OngCC to break up the turning polylines in the kampung area to make the route slower to reach its destination. Or maybe bro OngCC have better idea to tweak the map to make the navigation software to route it properly without changing the alley road type.

And marine base compound

kunnie, the mapper already has these images at his disposal. If he wanted to draw these tracks, he would have done so. Have you explored the possibility of using GPSMapEdit to draw the road polylines? Of course you need the licensed copy to draw the roads off Google Earth. - tympg

(Offset: N15 E11.5)

Please delete the Military polygon at N5.423252 E100.316467 called "Territorial Army Camp 509th Regt". I will draw a realigned polygon in its place.

Thanks.

Realignment of Solok Larut and Jln Larut

To address some points:

  • Solok Larut is currently out of alignment.
  • When routing, the user on Jln Larut is asked to turn to Jln Larut. The actual road does not turn at 90 deg. to justify a turn announcement.
  • From Jln Bawasah, cannot turn right to Jln Hutton.

Also added:

  • A turn-right lane on Jln Larut to turn into Jln Burma. Motorist have to keep right pretty early to get on this heavily-trafficated lane to Jln Burma. So the earlier the voice prompt, the better.
  • Service road to KFC and Mesiniaga

Thanks.

Here are some 1-second hiking tracks recorded under cloudless skies for you to consider reviewing/re-aligning the trails/roads already in our map.

Thanks! - OngCC
