Confirm that the private clinic & rural/health clinic are not searchable in mapsource, they are not in hospital category. They still can be search in GPSr.

Please let me know which medical/specialist centre that need to change to hospital.

Thanks for the explanation. I think the following 3 medical facilities should be changed to hospital category as they similar in size and services provided to those on hospital category, such as Island Hospital and Penang Adventist Hospital.

The 3 medical facilities are:
Loh Guan Lye Specialist Center N5 25.237 E100 19.083
Gleneagles Medical Centre Penang N5 25.618 E100 19.204
Bagan Specialist Center N5 24.628 E100 23.162

I could miss some, hope others can help to identify those that I've missed.

A flood mitigation project has resulted in the "temporary" closure of the left-turn from Jln Sultan Ahmad Shah (Northam Rd) into Transfer Rd. It doesn't look like the project will be finished before March this year.

I will report again once the project has finished and the left-turn reopened.

Thanks.

PS: Left-turn from Transfer to Sultan Ahmad Shah is still OK. All existing Turns Restrictions at this junction remain in place.

Looks like the project has finished and the turning reopened. Please cancel the left turn restriction from Sultan Ahmad Shah to Transfer.

Thanks.

Update to a few POI in Bukit Mertajam

Paco Cake & Pastry Maju Utama (N5 21.105 E100 28.348) has closed down, kindly remove it.
Medical Cafe Maju Utama (N5 21.131 E100 28.300) - the actual name is MED Cafe, not Medical cafe.

tympg wrote:Realignment of Solok Larut and Jln Larut

To address some points:

  • Solok Larut is currently out of alignment.
  • When routing, the user on Jln Larut is asked to turn to Jln Larut. The actual road does not turn at 90 deg. to justify a turn announcement.
  • From Jln Bawasah, cannot turn right to Jln Hutton.

Also added:

  • A turn-right lane on Jln Larut to turn into Jln Burma. Motorist have to keep right pretty early to get on this heavily-trafficated lane to Jln Burma. So the earlier the voice prompt, the better.
  • Service road to KFC and Mesiniaga

Looks like my attempt to get the system to prompt a Turn Announcement at the Larut-to-Burma turn backfired #-o -- it simply goes right through (too smooth I think).

Let's try this:

Please change the highlighted section of Jln Larut below to "Highway ramp, low speed". Hopefully, this will induce the Turn Announcement at this turn when routing.

1) @ N5 25.500 E100 19.185, Jalan SERVIS is become to one-way route;

2) Jalan Service rename to JALAN SERVIS (I countered check the road name, the actual should be J SERVIS instead J SERVICE)

3) Food Court @ Jalan Burma (N5 25.488 E100 19.208) require to rename to Anson Park Food Court

This alley/kampung road is not connected correctly in v1.43. It is not connected to the junction (N5 25.963 E100 33.043). It was connected correctly in v1.42, to a road at the north side of Taman Industri Saujana. The only feedback was this road is very narrow and probably can fit only a single kancil without going off the road.
