How many maps can I add to my Garmin devices?

As stated by bro alyem, older series can only contain one map in SD card while newer models can contain multiple maps up to limit of memory.

For older series, you can use multiple SD cards to contain different map sets. Lower capacity SD card cheap, so this is one way to save internal memory.

For older series, you can store multiple maps but each time you want to switch maps you have to find a lappy to switch names as the older series uses only one dedicated map file name for maps in SD card ie.. gmapsupp.img ... very inconvenient

So better to use separate SD card.

New Zeland,
Thailand,
how to save the map put in memory card to let them display the option to choose which map to uses in my garmin device.
i'm confuse dunno , how to do it,

and JCV file as well.

You combine unlimited number of maps into a Garmin-recognizable map file. The limit is your storage capacity. Garmin recognizes different map file names depending on models.

You can put many maps in the A10 with specific names, eg. mfm.img, in the /Map folder.
