What is the size of the splash screen do you use?

If you're referring to Bro Sulphur's 320x160pixels splash screens for Nuvi2xx, of course it fits. The same goes for 480x272pixels (for Nuvi2xx), as they're having almost similar width/height ratio of 2:1 (precisely 2:1.13 for 480x272pixels). I don't have an argument with that.

And that's actually my point, Nuvi2xx have a 320x240pixels screen, and the splash screen should be at least 60pixels shorter in height to allow for the splash messages that appear at the bottom of the screen.

Similarly, a Nuvi7xx or Nuvi2xxW have a 480x272pixels screen, and the splash screen should be about 212pixels in height (480x212pixels).

My first post was actually commenting the previous post with an upload of a 480x272pixels splash screen which should not fit a Nuvi7xx or Nuvi2xxW propotionately (as shown at this post: viewtopic.php?p=43050#p43050).

Shouldn't the height size be a lot smaller than the max 272 pixels. I set mine to 212 pixels and the splash screen fits the width (480 pixels) correctly. Otherwise, the image will be reduced propotionately to fit the reduced height.

The bottomline is, a splash screen for Nuvi2xx/2xxW/7xx should not use the max screen's height size. Hence, I concluded that the max size for Nuvi2xx's splash screen size is 320x180pixels (I've not tested myself, but Bro Sulphur's 320x160pixels should be just about right), while for Nuvi2xxW/7xx is 480x212pixels.

BTW, as commented by some users previously, Nuvi3xx/6xx, can have the full size splash screen, which is 320x240pixels and 480x272pixels, respectively.
