Currently i'm using mfm 110117 in my garmin 255w. Then try to update to mfm 110502 using SD card. My question is how come i still see the old 110117 map and not the new map eventhough I select (thick) the mfm 110502 map?

Put in SD card\map directory

Make sure \garmin directory does not exist.

JCV should be put in \map\JCV

Preloaded map is in /system directory ( default hidden ). You have to enable it via Windows to be shown

Put MFM map file gmapsupp.img in SD card /map directory

after load my MFM to my device. it came to MFM map & MFM POI.

when deactivate mfm poi, Map will untick.

What is that MFM POI?

I want speed alert. does the MFM poi include speed alert if i dun download custom POI.

Can I replace the new gmapsupp.img file without the SD card, i.e. install into the system folder? I thought putting a copy into the Garmin folder will work?
Have Garmin will travel!!!
