MFM-Garmin Map (cGPSmapper) Installation Step-by-Step Guide

After deleting the map file (gmapsupp.img) from the GPS memory, I'm able to see the latest MFM map in my GPS but at the same time the following maps are still available:
Malsingmaps Malasia/Singapore/Brunei NT 2011.30
City Navigator Singapore/Malaysia NT 2011.40

Shouldn't those maps be deleted as well ? I'm quite sure that is the only img file in the memory.

did you change the map selection in the myMap option under Settings? Make sure mfm map is selected and not the default NT 201x.xx and the citymap...

i have already checked myMaps but there is no other map for me 2 select~it only contains the original maps ~ didn't have the map which i have installed~What's wrong? kinda confusing~ thanks for your guidance

Erm,sorry for not explain it in details ~ i have followed all the instruction given by the installation guide and i have copied into my device of folder named Garmin i.e. F:\Garmin\MFM and i'm using MFM map generator and not using mapsource~after the text box saying process completed has shown up and then i tried 2 find MFM maps in myMaps,it doesn't exist~ why is it like this? help me please and thanks!!!

the old model garmin is put the map x:/Garmin/
the new model garmin 1xxx, 2xxx x:/Map/

when generate maps, see picture below. Maps display customization also can tick full


i) after install the mfm maps at your pc.

ii) go to your computer drive c:/Garmin/Malfreemaps/

iii) copy the gmapsupp.img to your memory card x:/MAP/

iv) rename the gmapsupp.img to whatever name. Example : MFM_02012012
