The 'history' (maybe you meant 'Favorites') are stored in the Navi\Save folder. I think they are named PPGPOI17.DAT. Normally when updating maps, these are always intact because they are in a separate folder. If however, you updated the software (as in X5 SE), everything including the 'Save' folder gets overwritten and you lose your 'history'. Remember to always make backups especially before updating the software.

Cheers.

It is 'history - the places i've nagivated before', i still have my 'favorites - places i've book mark'. Do you know which folder i can find the 'history' file?

However, you can backup the Save folder and transfer back to Navi folder after the software updates. But you need to delete the sys.cfg that located in the Save folder as well..

Is that mean i copy out the 'save' folder from my R5800 to my PC, then i do the update. Then i transfer back all the content in save folder (except sys.cfg) from my PC to my R5800.
Correct me if i am wrong. Thank you

If you meant 'your track log files', ie the 1-second tracks that you recorded, then it is saved in the Navi/MagaNaviser folder.

Correct.

Nope, it is not track log. It is just the destinations that i search before.
By the way, it is interesting to know there is 'track log' which track your movement in 1 second interval. Where can i see this file from my R5800?

Thank you

Please advise, thanks

Referring to the "220+ speed camera warnings (custom version only):

- What do you mean by custom version? How do I custom my GPS R5800?

- How can I add in my own speed trap location?

Thanks
