Thanks for jasonlee giving instruction on how to activate 1 sec tracklog for nuvi 13xx models.

1) Power ON nuvi
2) Press the area show in the pictures in sequence...

If you are tracking an untracked area, advised you to show trip log & put your route preference to OFF ROAD so that you can see clearly where you have tracked. With recording tracklog alone will not show your trail on the screen.

If you set ROUTE PREFERENCE to Faster time or Shorter distance, the pointer will stick to road when you are tracking somewhere near to a existing road in the map.

You can experiment it on how you want to do it. Putting route preference to any setting does not effect the 1 sec tracklog. Because 1 sec tracklog coordinates is recorded based on GPS coordinates, and not lock on road.

Happy tracking!

What do you think on why MFM maps you are using now so detail? Have you ever think who do it and how much they earn for producing FREE MFM maps? We are not hacker, we don't steal from others to produce MFM.

The one sec track log is for better accuracy Roads. Users who uses their GPS to track (using the GPS to draw new roads) have to submit their track logs (the road the GPS drawn) based on a one sec track log (the option where the GPS store the current location you are on at One Second interval).

In short, this is the setting MfM needs to make our roads (tracks) as accurate as possible. Hope this explanation helps.... cheers!
