I have been using the samsung jet for about 2 months now and well, it's a superb phone...all rounder...top notch speed, brilliant screen, apps and gps works well with route66..i have tried it and it navigates really well too..maps are updated as well...of course not as great as mfm maps but nevertheless good enough. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for an affordable full featured phone...among the specs that stand out are : 5mp camera with autofocus and dual led flash, hd video recording in 720x480 resolution, brilliant, best in the market right now amoled 3.1" led full touchscreen display, full featured dolfin browser, 3g, wifi, bluetooth and a myriad of other features. By flashing to the latest XEII2 firmware, it only gets better...

i'm getting this phone on monday..white colour..haa! =P~

by the way..what is route66? you are using the pre-loaded map by samsung?

just drag the widgets back to the widget column on the left....easy as pie
battery life is about 2-3 days for average user..like me..

I think iphone is more user friendly especially to those like me not so tech savvy ppl.
I only use my Omnia II for normal phone function. :frus:

Wa Bro SOSweer, in that case you should have bought this phone and save a bundle on your Omnia to upgrade your GPS

Cheap and good, I bought one for my mum and mum-in-law .. basis no frills phone with large buttons and large display.

Bro SB, tks for the advice.
You are right about the phone but to upgrade the GPS, I don't think is necessary afterall, my 200W still can lead me from point A to point B. That's goof enought. The problem is : even with GPSr, I sometime, can also "miss the turn". :frus:
