I came across the site called Coast that markets the X7 (almost idebntical to the X21) but it delivers 1068 lumens. I was also informed, what we get with the X21 in Western Europe differs slightly too in Russia and UK. The components itself that Solingen as manufacturing base, they decide which region has to be complied with... hence, the slight increase with the USA LED Lenser esp with the X7.

The 4 "D" batteries that is included in the original box are labeled for LED Lenser's own branding and each comes with 16,000 mAh. Given the long hours per set charge-load, I called off the idea to purchase a separate charger to accommodate just the D batteries. Its cheaper to buy just alkalines than rechargeables in this case. Unless I plan to camp out more than 2-3 months inside caves....

Here's an overview for making one's choice selection. I was also informed, the P7 is a popular model which many or our search & rescue organisations focus on with bulk buyings.

Aaah... \:D/ glad to brighten my early evening with the arrival of the package housing the X21!!!

I called on Monday, Tuesday I made my tel. order and paid online later in the day and it arrived two days later... from Germany itself and for far less. :-'

Than what is averaging around 300 - 375 euros and in some cases, excluding 19% taxes to jack the price even more!!! :ko:

Will unpack it after returning home from dinner in the city... Might snap some pics hopefully...

I managed to buy one for the price you quoted and yes, it can still be available if you search carefully on the Net. But at 50 - 70watts....? You may need to seek further past Chinese mainland manufacturers to grant you yr ideal flash at that approx. $60 to $80 price tag.... :-k

Image

Unless yr typo error was meant @5watts? You might then get close in considering the Aurora AK P7, claimed to provide somewhere in the range of 900 Lumens @ abt 45 bucks but the Fenix T1 with 225 Lumens was equally good and fits firmer in the hand too.

I have just unpacked the sturdy box encasing the X21 and after a quick fix and trial on testing the throws... it was impressive!!!
I need to get my tripod and camera mounted later to capture the beam and the reach of power it hurls across... WoW!!!

My latest acquisition on this X21 bazooka flashlight is guaranteed a free trip to the caves in New Zealand... to prove its power & potential there.... \:D/

If you can wait till when I am there in October, U R wel welcome to cum feel my "bazooka" brudder!!!

The best & quickest opportunity within proximity of your immediate location or wherever "your gun" & GPS travels to with yr biznuz, is see who in Ebay or Lelong has one for offer and make a rendezvous to test, feel (raba-raba dulu.... ) to the fullest.... :tease:

This is the best way possible B4 you decide to have one. Unless there is a local Retailer that is willing to let you try it out.... :-k
