I bought some of these magnets from Dealextreme ( http://www.dealextreme.com/ ). Just search for magnets and you'll find them there. These magnets are strong.... too strong for most 'normal' applications.

If you are buying the coin size magnets... make sure you don't let them attract each other freely.. they crash and crack easily.

You can also get some by taking apart old/spoilt harddisk or loudspeakers.

Francis!

That is recycling at the highest order! I got two old woofers in my garage, maybe its time for me to
hammer speakers and hopefully get the magnets in one piece...

Alternatively you can search for them from Aliexpress. (Aliebaba is the whole sale version). It could turn out cheaper than eBay but search there also and compare price.. esp to include shipping. The Delivery/payment is quite safe so long as you do not allow the delivery time to expire or they will autopay the seller. Most complains are handle professionally so long as you follow the rules. But do give the seller an opportunity to resolve first and not just hammer them if there are tolerable errors.
