Bro Tuah,

You are tracking all over the places. I am wondering if you just go to a place to track on purpose. How much does it cost you to drive there? I think we should recognise how much do you spend personally just to track these areas. The time, petrol, wear and tear on your car, the hot weather, the meals and drinks, the effort to track the areas. There are many trackers in MFM but none can compare to you in terms of contribution. Without you, I think the MFM map will still have a lot of blank spaces.

Yes, most of the tracking done in West Malaysia only - except for Perlis and Kelantan. For Sabah & Sarawak I just collect a few POIs when I had a chance to go there. Areas mostly covered are areas within reached for a day traveling (maximum 12 hours - to & fro). So how far can I traveled depend on this time constraints or else I'll get dizzy :ko: My main focus area is within 200km radius from KL. Otherwise, if had a chance to go outstations I will surely take this opportunity to cruise around and do the tracking, if time permit.

I am wondering if you just go to a place to track on purpose.
Normally, I planned for it - especially the long distance travel to the site. Open the mapsource and look at the potential areas by looking at the blank areas and compared it with GE to make sure that there are roads to track. Get the coordinates of the targeted areas and use GPS to assist me to the targeted site, if I'm not sure how to get there.

How much does it cost you to drive there?
Not too calculative. A full tank of petrol that can cover to & fro is good enough!

The admin give me the green baret! That's good enough even though I don't asked for it!

I believe when people give you something, you should give him back in return. Before me there are many senior trackers that contribute in many forms and kind - including yourself not to forget that. I am here just to fill in the blanks or any missing roads that have not been tracked by the seniors or new members or others that don't have the capability to track! So I :tq: you and all the seniors for the GREAT JOB DONE and not to forget also for the new comers!

Be sure that you read this -
1. POI - Point of Interest Contribution Guide
2. Tracklog Contribution Guide

This will make our mapper life easy!

Thanks!
