What device and Papago version are you using? If it is from the official distributors, the problem will be fixed.

I'm using the Holux 62 from EG with X3. The last few maps from MFM also had this problem.....TIA

the junction view shows too near with junction.

junction view below like not match with the road.

Mappers,
May I suggest that the JV for this junction be removed until a contributor provides a junction view that matches the actual view.

Re Papago Routing Feedback : NSH Exit 138 to Ipoh

While not being able to attend the MFM 1st Anniversarry GG in Ipoh , I was keenly following all the postings and photographs posted .I almost felt I was there .It would have been very nice meeting so many new friends in the mapping community. From what I read and from the photographs, I gathered that all of those who attended did have a very good time. I hope to be able to join you guys at a GG in the future.

Well done guys and Happy 1st Birththay to myaseanfreemaps.

I noticed some postings about taking the Exit 138 if Northbound on the NSH and so I simulated a route on my Holux Smile 6210 with Papago X3 0728N 001.0.0001 .2009/04/21and MFM's Papago X2/X3 mav version 2009/08/28 from NSH Exit 138 to Bulatan Ipoh.

The papago system generated a shorter route with many turns through what looks like a housing estate while Mapsource routed me north and then loopback onto Jalan Rajah Dihilir (Tambun Road). This stretch of road from NSH Exit 138 to the loopback onto Jalan Rajah Dihilir (Tambun Road)doesnt seem present in the Papago X3 250809 Map.

Has there been an Ommission, because without that My papago can only route me through the housing estate.

Will the Papago Map be updated with the missing link from NSH Exit 138 to the Loopback onto Jalan Rajah Dihilir (Tambun Road)to the Ipoh Roundbout ?

Hope to hear from you guys soon

Thanks

I've just downloaded and installed the Papago x3 maps v 090902 into my Holux Smile6210 and I see that the missing loopback road mentioned in my earlier posting has been updated. The inner road parrallel to the NSH leading from NSH Exit 138 to the Loopback Road as marked in the jpg screenshot of my earlier posting is updated. Wow! you guys are very fast!! , Thanks.

However, the routing From NSH Exit 138 to Bulatan Ipoh is still strange. There is no change in routing as illustrated in my earlier posting's jpg . {with N4 34.910 E101 08.608 as my start point)

The Routing is similar to Mapsource's routing if I were to shift my start point a little futher down the road of the Exit 138 to N4 35.040 E101 08.630 (past the Plus Office)

Is this another papago software routing issue?

Anyway Thanks very much for all the effort , Guys and I hope Eastgear and Papago will be more proactive to the comments and suggestions provided by MFM contributers to improve their product.

Thanks again,

Regards

BTW On both the MFM v1.73 and Papago x3 090902 maps the exit 138 is still shown as Exit 139 . What is the correct no for the exit?
