i think i know whats wrong
u extracted the wrong files, when u installing the EXE file make sure u pick X5 android option from the drop down menu.
ur file should be 57 .

I had downloaded the custom MFM-PPG-101104C which is supposed for android X5. Extractex the EXE file. but there isn't any option to select X5 android option. The only selection is language option.

I just did my first update and no problem to launch the papago.

1) i download the map (MFM-PPG-110126C) from here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=10134

2) Run the exe, at the "select papago version", select "papago x5 for android"

3) Under C:\Navi\Maps\MFM-PPG-110126C, you will have 31 files. Copy all to your sd car under Maps\Malaysia folder

I m having same problem, care to explain how? I put the extracted files with directory to \NaviSEA\Maps so now I have both MFM-PPG110103C (existing ) & MFM-PPG110126C (new) directory ( with all files) but my Desire seem to not able to select the new map?

OK I know the problem now, I selected the wrong extraction for gave me the wrong file type.

Good day to all.

As newbie I've tried searching for answers but to no avail, so hope bros can help me out here.

I have a on-board unit connected to my car's screen. When i boot it up, it shows M3GPS X5 (my understanding is its Papago X5 map running on windows CE). Everything works fine except that its an old Nov 2010 map and somehow I don't seem to be able to search by postal code. So:

1. Does Papago X5 support Singapore postal code search?

2. If it doesn't, does it mean that I can purchase SLA map that supports postal code search? SLA map supports fancy stuff like junction view etc?

I would have other questions like how to install/update maps but I will try to look for answers in the forum.

Ok I found my own answers.

To do postal search, have to go search under POI, not via the road search option. Now I am back in business!

Your post had already answered at the other discussions topic, and please don't double post it.

If you buy a original PPG, then it will come with a restoration SD card.

If you buy an "ahem" PPG, then you have to take it back to the one who sold it to you.
