As in the YouTube video posted previously, the majority of the software related problems are caused by the corrupted WinCE OS. We can offer a free check-up of the GPS device and do a complete format and re-install if necessary.
We appreciate any user feedback for the good of the product and we will try our best to to do the necessary. :tq: :rox:

When is the upgrade from X5SE android to M8 available? Any specific date.

We are unable to promise the exact date but it will in the near future, within 1 or 2 months time. We want to make sure it is really ready for the market.

Dear Sir,

I am not pleased that your firm had decided to axe the
earlier PaPaGo versions. So what will we existing users
of the earlier version do.... we had paid for those softwares
but now not able to get any updated maps from MFM.
Do you want us to buy your new PaPaGo One (X8)?
I had checked the PaPaGo One and frankly I did not like
it at all.My personal opinion is that PaPaGo One is a step
backward compared to say PaPaGo Reality X7 in terms of
usage and clarity and quick responsiveness.
Moreover, it has a bigger RAM requirement of 128MB compared
to the former X5SE, X6 and X7.

Will you bring back MFM maps support for X5 to X7?
Otherwise, I will consider going for Powermap Z9,MapKing Landmark
or Galactio V8 which is currently being supported by MFM.

Thanks for your attention and hope you reconsider my above appeal
as I also speak for many current PaPaGo users.

Regards

Dear Sir,

To continue from my previous comment.
What I am trying to say is" Why invent a newer mouse
trap when the current one works just fine?"
Yes... you offer free upgrade but to what end... you
only create more confusion to customers who do not
have the time nor patience to go and do a free upgrade,
but have to go back to the place where you purchase.

It sounds RIDCULOUS!!!!!!!!
:( .. Say I went to LowYat during my holiday
from Penang and bought a WayWayPaPaGo... does it mean I have
to RTB (Return To Base) to upgrade? Even then, the seller will
reluctantly do so...I know for a fact.

Your introduction of so many versions of PaPaGo with different
requirements are to be blamed for confusion us customers.
By this action... you have created havoc for us customers.
I for one will strongly recommend all my foreigner customers
to another PaPaGo equivalent GPS...That I will do.....
I am disgusted. :fire:

Papago map format keep changing is a pain to many users. This is especially true for legitimate users. We're being forced to change without any apparent reasons or benefits to the users.

I hope this X8 map format is the ultimate format, just like Garmin. Otherwise, Papago is expected to loss a lot of local legitimate customers.

For my case, my RM900 Holux 62E being downgraded after sending to M3 to so called upgrade to X8.5. The TTS feature has disappeared & I've to wait for the new package (unknown date). The fortunate thing is, the support guys is very good & responsive.

M3 guys,
You guys must provide the benefits to legitimate Papago users, as they're the people actually paying for the GPS software license.

If the service is no good then you guys can forget about having them to continue to by legitimate Papago. There are far too many China made 2-din & GPS bundled with so many GPS software. Guess who will lose out if the customers are unhappy with the services?

Agree with mongoose55. =D>
I suggest and hope that m3gps will not prevent the MFM to publish the map below X8 until m3gps truly believe that X8 is functioning properly. No matter how long it takes. [-X

Bro mongoose55, gpsmy, prayer,
Thank you for your feedbacks. :tq:
We do practice empathy, which we try to put ourselves in Papago user's shoes.
We understand your frustration and we hope some of the points below will clarify the situation.

1. MFM will still be compiling maps for those below X8.5 until Oct 31. MFM might be able to continue
there after, as the demand for it is still great. It is still under discussion. More news on this topic
will be release as and when it is available. Rest assure that, it is our utmost importance that orginal software
users are not affected.

2. The reason to discontinue maps for version below X8.5 is mainly to ensure that all Papago Navigational
software perform to the same specification. in order to resolve various issue, as since X3 till X8.5
there has been changes to the routing engines, and in order to provide efficient support, it is hope
that all support and maps issue can be resolved more effectively

3. From X8.5 onwards, future maps and software upgrade will be seamlessly done via WebUpdater
and as such, it is important that all user uses X8.5 as the base platform.

4. We are still in the progress to fine tune X8.5 for all devices to ensure smooth and stable performance
and rigorous testing are carry out on the ground to ensure that. As such, we will be continue releasing
X8.5 for all devices within the next 30 days. (ie before Oct 31).

me too agreed with mongoose55. actually papago users shd be given ample time to migrate to x8.5 (while maintaining current version) . this new version need to be trial-run & evaluate for quite sometime until all issues resolved and stable. then only x8.5 can be officially available to market and start to cease support to older versions.
