Help needed: Holux NAV-62F, Papago X3 need latest maps

Help needed.
I am trying to use my GPS set Holux NAV-62F.
It runs on Papago X3 and my maps installed in the system are currently
1. MFM PPG version 5-7-11
2. Navigasi.net v2.06
3. *SLA Singapore 110931 TMC
As it is already sometime back since I use this set, can any advise me how to
1. Upgrade the software?
2. Download the latest map?
I tried going to eastgear website but its seems not working any more and they do not support Papago maps anymore.

We have stopped offering X3 maps long ago. You have to upgrade you navigation to X8.5 or higher to enjoy the free maps
HERE.
Note: Upgrading to X8.5 is free from Papago.

It is show on the website that it supports
Holux Models
N62, N62E
How about N62F? Will installing X8.5 cause any problems?

If your unit can run x3 it should run x8.5 without any problems.... Known problem with older GPS units is the 3D display and map refresh rate can be slow if the RAM is <128Kb.

But I have lots of trouble to get access to the X8.5 software.
Register to
http://support.m3gps.com/index.phpPrompted I have not register my device.
So I tried keying my old holux GPS unit serial no. ME924HX1xxxx.
Then it logs me out from the website.
Looks like nothing can be done.

Sorry to hear that... You can try calling M3gps to find out how to send it back for the free upgrade.

Sorry for the late reply. The answer is yes but you need send over your device to us and it will take about 7 working days to make it done.
