MFM-Papago:Lane Assist feedback

Postby antyong (retired) » Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:16 am

Hi members,

Please post here roads that require lane assist and the lane assist info itself. For guidance, we use junction view pictures for highway exits and ramps. Lane assist is used for turn left/right kind of situation on major roads.

Lane assist code:
Image

Give the coordinate:
N3.07471 E101.61338

Then the lane info from left to right:
832 (left lane turns left, centre lane straight & right, right lane turns right)

:tq:

For example, this location will need :

split left, split left, split right, split right

N 1°16'44.33" E 103°49'17.16"

One question:
The coordinate that we supplied, should it be the point where the road split or the point where the Lane assist supposed to appear ? In this case the last exit is quite close to the point where the road splits.

The coordinate i gave was the point where the picture should appear.

Please refer to post#1, use only those turn features which are support only.

We use JV for highway exit, lane assist is use on major road with 3 lanes & above.

The following tricky locations can do with lane assist:

N1 19.458 E103 58.404
966 <-- should be 911, right?

N1 19.578 E103 58.138
911
