That's the planning anyway but as we all know there's is certain person by the Murphy who always like to mess things up a bit to make life more interesting...  Anyway I will PM you my hand-phone number, if time permits it would be great to meet up.

Thanks bro aikliang. Will see how things go nearer to the actual date. Like you said, Murphy's law :)

Well-presented park with cool mountain waterpark for kids, and therapeutic hot spring water for the elderlies.

FS is now pricey and overrated. I personally prefer the dim sum place across the street. :peace:

hi guys & gals 1st of all, :tq: for all the feedbacks received. I really appreciate it. This is what brother (sister)hood in a forum means - helping each other out.

Yesterday, had a discussion with family and it was decided that we shall take a slow drive up north from Melaka (on Friday) and then back again from Penang (on Sunday). Since I am the only one with GPS (I have been trying to convert them but without success yet), I have been put in charge of food-stops. They intend if time permitting to stop at every town to sample the food :nutz: :nutz:

Other than the ones for Ipoh, any others recommendations? I have actually read some of the posts in bro email2me and also did a search for food poi's in here but there are tons and tons of information until I :ko: :ko: .

Appreciate help to recommend 1 or 2 stops per place taking into account (1) convoy of 4 cars (2) age of travellers - from 4 - 81 years (3) convenience to locate / parking (4) amenities like toilets, etc.

the correct term is a "broad" thinker as said by my late teacher, Bro. Edmund Matthews of SFI, Malacca.

a "free" thinker, per him, is a mad person... O:)
