My wife did a booking via Airasia travels including lodging at Nexus Karambunai at around RM2500 for 4. Rent a van(Kia Pregio) thru a friend of mine for RM250/day.
Although we did not climb the mountain(my wife don't want too)......we went to a few places with the help of my 60CSX(loaded with the other map)- Kinabalu Park, Manukan Island, KK town and Lok Kawi Wild Life Park.
Food was not much a problem but for a muslim, we questionable when the sign say no pork serve.
