From Penang to KL or vice versa using old road

Postby h@rry » Mon Jan 18, 2010 2:28 am

If I'm going to KL from Penang, how to follow the old road?

I heard there are 2 paths right? Heard hard to follow old road if reach Ipoh there.

What POI should i log and make sure it didn't take me to highway?
I'm using Papago X5 on Android phone.

Thanks.

bro h@rry,

Use Routing >> Tools >> Route Plans to define and sequence your via points for your upcoming trip. Detail instructions can be found on page 15 of the manual 'PAPAGO_X5_PND_EN091015.pdf', downloadable from M3 website.

Yeah ~ The coastal route is good route to escape the jam during CNY since both Highway & route 1 esp near Bidor, Kampar & Ipoh also jammed! Faster for sure the Highway-lah 4hrs to KL. 2nd will be route 1 - If no jam, I think 7hrs can dy. Coastal road longer but the seafood at Kg Cina @ Sitiawan very tempting.. (However, watch out for jam at Sabak bernam & kuala Selangor..

For Kampar use route 1 -lah
