Haha!! Actually it might be good to apply this to the Penang-Bangkok train. Do we have any Thai members? Can start the GG in the train in Malaysia (Members all the way from Sgp up till Penang can take another train until it reaches Penang, then change to the Penang-Bangkok train), then pick up members all the way until Bangkok, then tour Bangkok, then back to Malaysia.

Does this ETS having odometer kah? I remembered the china speed train that I took from Canton to Shenzhen having odometer...avg ~175km/hr but max reaching 200km/hr during straight rail..

From the video, I only saw the LCD..wondering whether the LCD also having odo or not? - Good for those having not so good GPS.. :oops:

you mean speedo display in cabin? don't think have lah.
yes in china, the 'z' trains and faster ones have such displays.

Actually the double tracking is currently in progress & during CNY this year, I saw they already cleared those land & even demolished houses along Taiping side....no need 10 yrs..soon to Butterworth..
