Maybe once they start charging toll and less people use the road, the traffic might be better, but for me, i wouldn't pay to drive on a single carriageway, might just take the old roads. my parents also agree they'd rather take the old road, got more "activities" along the way.

The provision for the second lane is already prepared for, waiting for the right trafic volume of course. . The highway operator are more hopeful on the traffic from Senai and Pasir Gudang sides, I reckon.
