I once stayed there due to a promotional rate for their 2-bedroom apartment for RM800. It is about 113sqM and accommodated my group of 8 pax comfortably. Hall has sofa beds and has a kitchen.
The selling point of G Hotel is its location, Car stays in car park
next door to Gurney Drive Food Centre, Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon ( don't know if it has open )
walking distance to Pulau Tikus market for hawker style food ( breakfast )
walking distance to BaliHai Seafood, Carnation BakKutTeh, 77 Curry Fish head,
short drive to hawker style food stalls at Northam Beach Cafe, GoodAll Cafe ...
My only complain is the horrible traffic in evenings

1 sept - 3 sept.
Staying two night 1 sept (thursday check in) - 3 Sept Check out.
Yes, I doubt there are any room left in Penang during this Raya and Holiday season.
Plan B is to have Homestay in your House..

Hotel Royal Penang; price is good, breakfast is good and room is clean, stay there each time visiting Penang for last 3,4 year
