Sin Lean Heang : 360-G-7 MaCallum St N5 24.252 E100 20.008. Excellent "Ore Mee" and "Kiam Hee Cha Png". Should also try the "Ba-Kee Tng / Cham Kee Tng". Very crowded during peak hours thus should have lots of patience.

Lean Hup Bee : 28 Jalan Pantai at Butterworth. N5 23.919 E100 21.950. Excellent "Te Ka Png". Again at peak hours, very crowded and takes a long long time to get food.

Bt Tambun Jetty ; Prawn Village Rest N5 16.317 E100 26.604 A collection of seafood restaurants that serve seafood. Quality nothing to shout sbout but then eating by the river with fishing boats coming / going is an experience.

Rest Soh Tai Kim : A kopitiam style outlet serving fish ball noodles. Pretty good. N5 25.323 E100 22.828

Alma Noodles : Now this is an intreasting place at N5 20.339 E100 28.446. The owners are operating this in a house in the Damai area. Noodles are good and worth the trip. Not an easy place to find but with GPS .....

Prepare to wait for 40-60 mins from 8am - 10:30am close Tuesday

- Goh Teo Kee Restaurant - N5 20 11.2 E100 17 54.8
Order the Crab Roll, Oysters fried in bean paste, Thai style fried veg.

- Mee CRC Stall - N5 25 20.3 E100 19 33.7
Indian Mee stall... great mee rebus

- Queen Elizabeth II - Chinese/Western Restaurant (Qe II) - N5 24 54.5 E100 20 38.9
They serve one of the best Corn fed beef steak at the western rest. They also serve a wide select of authentic Chinese cuisine at the Chinese rest. A great place to relax by the sea watching the Penang Ferries plying the Straits.

- Sea Pearl Seafood - N5 27 49.9 E100 18 28.8
Bake crabs, this is the only way they cook crabs here. Also try their bake prawns

- Thirty-Two at the Mansion - Western N5 25 24.8 E100 19 57.9
Another fine Wine n Dinning restaurant

- Northam Beach Cafe - N5 25 41.7 E100 19 22.1
A good selection of local hawker food with Japanese, Korean, German, French, Italian stalls to please any appetite. A little pricy.

Pak Kut Teh - I like the "clear" soup type, not the black color one. Too strong, gastric pain.
Normally, i will visit a shop near gurney drive...
