Maps for holiday in France?

Postby footballrobot » Mon Jun 25, 2012 11:09 am

Hi,

I am going to France and taking a roadtrip across Paris, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Brittany and Normandy in August 2012... am wondering what I should do in order to have a good GPS with reliable maps?

I have a Nuvi 200 but no maps for France. The car I am renting is supposed to have build-in GPS but I am scared it is in French or has outdated maps.

Any ideas?

You should specify / clarify with your designated car rental firm that your preference for language is english. If it is one of reputed firms, the maps are quite updated.

Your other option is to borrow a friend's GPS which has preloaded Europe maps.
