To Melaka via Jasin, Lebuh Amj

Hi, Have anyone use this route from NSHW, via Jasin and Lebuh Amj to Melaka. Plan to use this route avoid holiday traffic Jam. Have try to view it on Google Map, but still under construction. Is this a 2 lane highway? Hope someone can help.

Never tried exiting via "Simpang Empat - Jasin" . But yes you can use Lebuh AMJ. (2 lane toll free highway -which is literally a ring road parallel to the old Muar-Melaka route.) If jam free -it should take you about 25 minutes to hit Melaka. Hope it helps.

Additional informations:-
It's speed limit is 90 km/hr.
From Merlimau Junction to Malacca you've got to go thru 6 traffic lights.
ie. Merlimau Junctions; Serkam; Umbai; Kandang; Duyong and Semabok.
There used to be speed trap or road block in between Serkam Traffic Lights/junction and Umbai Traffic Lights/junction. Co-Ed not sure yet

Pretty jam free but you will hit wth jams after Tesco Melaka & continue till after Cheng...This area is getting from bad to worst on weekend..

Hi, after going thru yr posts, it looks like, it makes not much different by using this route or driving thru the Melaka town rite? Or should stick to this route?
