I've tried Silverpark. They are ok, no complains. The view is really nice from these high point.

Pines is only OK. It is getting on a bit and the food is bad. Always busy during weekends.

Silverpark is newer and the rates are reasonable. It's weekend rate used to be RM155 for a studio apartment to RM265 for a 3 bedroom. May have gone up now. The food is better. Busy.

There aren't that many places to eat in Frasers.

Ye Olde Smokehouse is quaint but costly. The rate used to be RM450 for a suite. The food is superb but very expensive. I drive up to Frasers just to have the tea and scones there (also for the drive and weather). Fancy a little quiet nostalgia, this is the place. It even has a bar/pub.

There's Shahzan Inn which was recently refurbished. It is clean, quite comfortable and the rates are quite good, I am told. Also busy.

The public bungalows are dilapidated and you need to book them thru the local authority. Some of them leak. Avoid these.

The best are the corporate bungalows. But you need a friend to get into these.

I have stayed in all of them except for Shahzan Inn and the public bungalows. I have had lunch at Shahzan and my sis had a very bad experience in one of the public bungalows.

The whole of Fraser's Hill is haunted.

Btw, the newly-refurbished Puncak Inn at the Clock Tower looks awesome. But eateries have moved upstairs to the children playground beyond the mosque.
Pls see my travelogues at http://naim.my - THANKS!
