Driving to KL

Postby cmwong » Wed Nov 04, 2009 5:06 pm

Any suggestions which hotel to stay where parking is safe?

Thinking of Mid-Valley hotels. Boulevard or Gardens.

Sounds a little insensitive doesn't it.

KL is not a lawless place like the wild wild west or even downtown LA-lah.

Most reputed hotels have their own car parks. Relatively safe la .... keep temptation away by putting valuables out of sight.

Almost all hotels in the KL/PJ area have good and SAFE parking facilities.

It all depends on where is your preferred location, what are your plans and priorities, and number, and your budget

Shopping, Business and Vacation may call for different types of hotels.

When I am in KL I usually put up at Vistana Hotel ( N3 10.287 E101 41.742 ) however the traffic sucks during peak hours :frus: Sometimes end up better to leave car at hotel and take a cab ](*,)

9 Jalan Lumut, Off Jalan Ipoh, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tel : +60 (0) 3 4042 8000

Better take kapcai there.....lost also chip chip.... :finga: :finga:

Seriously, I never had a problem all the time I drive or ride to KL (so to say Malaysia). Few rules to be safe. Do Not park in dark and secluded place. Do not leave valuables visible in the car....if possible and available, pay those willing to care for ur car....
