Not too far from Bangkok. On way down, stop at stalls selling sea salt - they say sea salt is good for the skin and contains much more trace elements compared to 'synthetic' salt. Enroute, stop at Don Hoi Lot for dried sea food shopping.
Suggest you stay at Chaam and night market shopping in Hua Hin. Beach is very nice, nearby has Premium factory outlet for 'brand name' shopping. Nearby huge monk statue temple with elephant with 3 trunks (not real, statue only lah!). Good seafood in Chaam.
Many 'Farang' owned pubs in Hua Hin, too many Farangs in Hua Hin. But not seen that many beautiful Thai girls in town leh!
