I was hoping to cross the border around 10am (on Saturday). Is that a bad time?

Similarly, returning around 4-5pm on Monday (public holiday) is a bad time?

Thanks! :tq:

plan your route and enter via woodlands earlier. go in jb or breakfast and do a slow drive

When I read the forums, everyone seemed to be going through the 2nd Link. So, I thought that is the best way through.

I actually don't plan to stop in JB on my way up, and would prefer a longer path over a crowded path :).

Under that situation, would it be still better for me to pass through Woodlands? It is actualy closer to me becaue I live in Serangoon.

Thanks a lot!

If you stay in Serangoon you should use woodlands causeway . it is nearer and not that difficult to drive to Desaru. Just follow your GPS and take a slow drive up.

once you are in Desaru you can go to SG renggit for seafood, visits the ostrich farm, fruits farm and fire flies watching in the evening.

All these places are in the GPS too.

Drive safe and leisurely .... do not be afraid of fast car coming from your back... they will overtake you -- you don't have to speedup

As for driving during Public holiday .. the earlier the better ... other wise the jam can be quite bad..

Your trip should take you approximately 2.5 hours ...

Since is a brand new car - bring along a car steering lock and also always park your car head in first..

Enjoy!!

When I drove to Desaru last year, I kenna caught for speeding twice. The mata said the tickets will be sent to my home but it has been more than 1 year and I received no tickets at all.
