Our Johor resident mapper bro robo personal blog has listed his experience there. If he puts it in his blog, by his standards, should be of a decent quality.

I have personally visited quite a number of places as listed in his blog in my many weekend day trips north and they are all yummy

As food and personal taste is relative and subjective, why don't you try and post your feedback. It is not too far a drive for a day trip from Singapore.
